Our commitment
The hotel management is committed to managing the business in a manner that complies with national and international laws, always respecting human rights.
We have a responsibility to protect our staff, our customers, our partners and the local community, understand their rights and not tolerate any form of harassment or discrimination based on gender, age, nationality, skin color, sexual orientation or trade union activity.
This is ensured in the following ways:
- Integrating the ten principles of the UN into our policies and procedures.
- Adopting a transparent recruitment policy, with equal opportunities for all.
- Offering employees development opportunities and salary increases.
- Offering employees, the opportunity to communicate with the management on any issue that concerns them without hesitation, since the management visits the hotel facilities daily and talks with the staff.
- Offering continuous training to all employees for professional and personal development (HACCP, EFET, POSI SHIELD seminars, OAED subsidized programs).
- Regularly training our employees on labor and human rights issues (annual anti-discrimination, gender diversity and equality, health, safety, harassment and child protection training).
- Notifying all employees of the complaints and disciplinary procedures from the day they are hired.
- Allowing our employees to join a union if they wish, participate in union activities during work hours as well as gather during work hours to form a union and elect a representative to discuss various issues without the involvement of management.
- Regularly assessing the impact of business operations on human rights.
- Preferring suppliers who have the same values as us.
- Collecting feedback from employees at the end of each season in order to improve the well-being of employees in the workplace every year.
This policy is communicated in staff areas, staff manual and the hotel notice board.
